Branths Robust Lack is a hard-wearing top coat with a glossy surface in a 5 liter container
It is high in solids, impact-resistant, dries quickly, is very elastic and weather-resistant. Can be used as 2 components -Lack (with Quick Hardener) can be processed. Like all solvent-based paints from AV Branth, Branth's Robust Lacquer has a very low proportion of solvents.
Yield:
Branth's Robust Lacquer is calculated at 17 m² to 18 m² / Liter at 30 mµ, but in practice such thin layers are hardly achieved, therefore approx. 8 m² / liter (50 µm) or 10 m² liter at 45 µm.
This coating material is deliberately elastic (and with heightened Temperatures thermoplastic) in order to ensure a very high impact resistance and abrasion resistance. The surface hardness is therefore not satisfactory for all applications in industry and craft and can be significantly improved by adding BRANTH's QUICK HÄRTER concentrate.
Areas of application of the glossy top coat:
exterior and interior paints
steel, iron, stainless steel, aluminum, wood, GRP
all tested old paints that are stable, including substrates
for machines, vehicles, commercial vehicles of all kinds
as a glossy top coat on the chassis and for axle parts (prime with BRANTHO-KORRUX
"3in1")
for boats, ship superstructures, structural parts, gates, windows, metal facade parts, etc.
Branth's Robust- Lacquer is a glossy topcoat and, due to its quality, is also the first choice for DIY enthusiasts:
temperature resistant up to + 200° C
very good adhesion to many surfaces
very high opacity
Dust-dry after approx. 20 minutes, touch-proof after approx. 100 (80) minutes, fully hardened after approx. 10 (8) hours, stackable after approx. 4 (2) days. (Values in brackets refer to processing as a 2-component paint with Quick hardener)
During processing, the object and ambient temperatures around + 20° C are optimal.
Branth's Robust -The lacquer can also be processed at temperatures between -10° C and + 30° C.
Properties of Branth's Robust lacquer:
Basis: Combination of various polyester resins with Pigments of the highest weather and lightfastness
Solids content: approx. 58 to 60% (weight), approx. 48% (volume)
Degree of
gloss according to NCS 80 to 85% (depending on color)
Branth's Robust-Lack complies with DIN standards:
DIN 4102-1: Building material class B2
DIN 55928T5 and DIN EN ISO 12944: Suitable as a top coat for all 6 corrosivity classes with atmospheric ambient conditions indoors and outdoors, so can also be used in a salt water atmosphere.
Suitable primers:
Brantho-Korrux 3in1, Brantho-Korrux nitrofest, Brantho-Korrux 2-Kompo, Br antho-Korrux ecobase
Other colors (without yellow, orange, red) from 25 l.
